A self-taught photographer, Kris has a deep passion for the art and craft of black & white film photography and darkroom printing. After giving up a job offer as a photojournalist with the Singapore Press Holdings in pursuit of a corporate career, Kris rekindled his passion for photography, in particular animals after he co-founded Puppy Colours, a leading canine behaviour and training academy in Singapore.

A fascination with the beauty of animals, how each one has its unique character and life story, coupled with inspiration from his three paw kids, Josh (Cavalier King Charles), Milly (Golden Retriever) and Ella (British Shorthair); have led Kris to set up his own mobile studio focusing on photographing artistic portraits of animals and pets.

During his free time, Kris continues to pursue his love in black & white film photography for his personal work. He can be frequently seen wandering on the streets of Singapore, creating visual stories of people and their environment.
